On a daily basis, all of us are faced with air-brushed images of male and female perfection. We are obviously all becoming more critical when we look into the mirror – we see every fine line, every tiny blemish, and every scar. But the truth is, those are the features that make us human, the features that define us as individuals:
“There is nothing more rare, nor more beautiful, than a woman being unapologetically herself; comfortable in her perfect imperfection.
To me, that is the true essence of beauty” – Steve Maraboli
At A&A Aesthetic clinic, we strive to achieve a natural result with the non-surgical cosmetic procedures that we carry out. Our aim is to help people to feel more comfortable in their own skin and to promote body confidence – sometimes, all it takes is a little cosmetic treatment to return an individual’s ‘inner glow’.
We believe that it’s important that treatments are never forced on anyone, and we will never carry out a treatment that we feel is unnecessary or inappropriate for a client.
To all those who believe that any kind of cosmetic intervention is unnecessary – we ask you to consider the thoughts and feelings of those who do undergo non-surgical cosmetic procedures before you pass judgement. We all have the right to do what we want (within reason!) to make ourselves happy. Unfortunately, not everyone feels so confident – some people want a little help to feel comfortable in their own skin, and we are happy to help as long as we feel that what they are asking for is realistic and appropriate for them.
In extremely rare cases, there are people whose desire to be ‘comfortable’ in their own skin has become an irrational compulsion – a never-ending and insatiable quest for perfection. It is these people that we would like to reach out to in this Blog: you are not alone, and there is help out there if you need it.
